Gonzaga's programs from a New Hampshire address
Gonzaga's disclosure table marks New Hampshire "Meets" for the nurse practitioner MSN, but a place in the FNP or PMHNP track depends on living in one of Gonzaga's ten western states. A New Hampshire nurse with a master's can instead raise the online Post-Master's DNP with Gonzaga, which confirms eligibility before you apply.

Gonzaga's sources disagree on the doctorate's size, anywhere from 28 to 34 credits, and a System Management concentration that adds business courses is due in Fall 2027. The Post-Master's DNP page sets out both.
The Board, OPLC and Nur 602.15(j)
OPLC, New Hampshire's Office of Professional Licensure and Certification, houses the Board of Nursing. Its distance education rule, Nur 602.15(j), requires approved pre-licensure programs based outside the state that contract with New Hampshire facilities to register their intent before any experience and give six weeks' notice of each placement. Each year brings a Form A petition, each rotation needs a Part B Student Clinical Placement form, and each preceptor signs a Clinical Preceptor Agreement.
Post-licensure education, RN-BSN and RN-MSN programs among it, appears on OPLC's page as outside the Board's regulation, which on its face puts a doctoral project beyond those filings. One wrinkle: the rule's text as reproduced by the Legal Information Institute carries a January 23, 2026 expiration, yet OPLC was still citing it that month, and no readoption has been confirmed. Gonzaga is the right party to check the current position.
Full practice and a compact license
AANP places New Hampshire among the full practice states. The state's compact implementation dates to January 19, 2018, so a multistate license issued here lets you practice across the other compact states while you keep New Hampshire as your primary residence.
Dartmouth Health, Manchester and Concord
Dartmouth Health, the system that includes Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, is one of the state's major names. Others are Elliot Health System and Southern New Hampshire Health, the two founders of SolutionHealth, plus Concord Hospital Health System and Catholic Medical Center, which HCA Healthcare owns. SolutionHealth's boards proposed dissolving it in July 2025, so confirm how an organization is structured today before your proposal names it.
Some 459,000 residents live in the New Hampshire portion of the Boston metro, 433,000 in Manchester-Nashua and 158,000 in the Concord area, and the Department of Health and Human Services offers public health settings. Your faculty approve whichever organization you propose, and the DNP practicum courses show when each step falls.
Heading west to apply for an NP track
Gonzaga admits NP students by residence, so a move comes before the application. Your New Hampshire multistate license rests on New Hampshire as your home state, and licensure after a move runs through the new state's board; among the ten, Oregon, California, Alaska and Nevada sit outside the compact. Can a New Hampshire RN enroll in Gonzaga's online FNP?
Not from a New Hampshire address. Gonzaga's FNP and PMHNP tracks take residents of ten states across the West, from Washington and Idaho south to Arizona and north to Alaska. The "Meets" rating for New Hampshire on Gonzaga's disclosure page describes licensure requirements, not admission, so relocating to one of the ten is the route to an NP track.
Does Nur 602.15 apply to a Gonzaga DNP project in New Hampshire?
On its face, no: the rule covers approved pre-licensure programs from outside the state, and OPLC lists post-licensure programs as not regulated by the Board. The rule's status after its listed January 2026 expiration is unconfirmed, though, so let Gonzaga check with OPLC before you commit to a New Hampshire setting.
Could I do my DNP project at Dartmouth Health?
Dartmouth Health is one of the settings a New Hampshire DNP student might propose, as are Elliot, Catholic Medical Center, Concord Hospital and Southern New Hampshire Health. Gonzaga's public pages do not list agreements with any of them. Your proposal names the organization and the liaison, and Gonzaga's faculty approve the setting.
What will Gonzaga's System Management DNP add?
The concentration, listed as coming Fall 2027, is a 33-credit post-master's path that combines MBUS business coursework with the DNP practicum and project sequence, plus a choice of two among the DNP's leadership, informatics, population health and policy courses. The practicum structure stays the same, so a New Hampshire student would still propose a setting and a liaison.
